Microsoft Warns Of Server Hack

of a hack that could route users through a malicious proxy server. When a browser looks for a server's DNS or WINS, an infected server may "route their Internet traffic through a malicious proxy server," according to Microsoft.

Well the word is out and yes, the hack has begun. , there is this "notification" that appears on your system and allegedly tells you that your computer is infected and you need to install some B.S. Anti-SpywareXP crap to remove it. WRONG!

Now I read that even if you type in a correct address in your browser, you might get re-directed to a malicious site.

Security experts fear an open season for virus attacks and identity-fraud scams. And I'm wondering how ugly this will get as well.

Let's hope they get this taken care of soon. ...
