Reminder: End of Support for Windows XP SP2

Today is the day that your Windows XP SP2 is no longer supported by Microsoft. (Additionally, Windows Vista with no service packs will no longer be supported, along with Windows 2000)

An unsupported version of Windows will no longer receive software updates from Windows Update. These include security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software, which can steal your personal information. Update also installs the latest software updates to improve the reliability of Windows—new drivers for your hardware and more.

Check Status of Web Sites/Cloud

If you ever have problems connecting to your Gmail and wonder why, check out Google Apps Status Dashboard. That would have come in handy the other day when one of my users couldn't access their account.
Of course, you may have a Windows Live Mail, Yahoo Mail, a Blog hosting-site, Twitter, FaceBook and if you aren't able to access it, check out the Down Right Now site.
And if you suspect a regular Web site is down for the count, type in its address at to to see if it’s the site or you with the connection problem.

Seagate 3TB External Hard Drive
